Phlebotomists are health professionals that are responsible to deal with everything related to taking blood or blood sample till sending it to the lab for testing or transfusion. This pay range may sound less when it comes to joining this career initially but definitely there are growth chances in this career and after joining as phlebotomist one can quickly grow to different positions like lab supervisors, technicians or any other role in admin etc.
This is true that with the increase in the number of years in any job one get experience which results in increase in the pay too. For phlebotomist average annual salary range as calculated by The Bureau of Labor Statistics for those having 1 to 4 years of experience is $21,949 – $34,392, for 5 to 9 years is $24,435 – $36,067, for 10 to 19 years of experience is $26,348 – $35,889 and for 20+ years is $27,770 – $41,156. Nevertheless if one gets to some higher position they may be able to get a good pay too.
